Around the "Halte Montaigne"
When
coming to Bordeaux, you can’t help but notice the wide range of
activities and views it has to offer : the architectural XVIIIth
century beauty of the buildings, the terraces where you can taste the
wonderful wines and delightful ‘cannelés’, the strolls along the docks
and the masterful ‘miroir d’eau’, which gives you the impress you
are at the sea, feet in the water.
You can visit the Opera ‘Grand théâtre’ too, to discover or rediscover
famous acts, or walk around arts or history museums, which tell the
city’s story in an other manner/way.
Bordeaux it’s also the incredible pedestrian street, the famous ‘Rue
Sainte Catherine’, full of shops, bars and restaurants; but it’s also
parks and garden everywhere, to enjoy a nature break.
A few miles away, you can also enjoy the ocean and the ‘Bassin
d’Arcachon’ or the historical city of Saint-Emilion for panoramas and
wine tasting.
